Job Description

The Speech Therapist evaluates and treats, providing family oriented services to the home health patient with oral-motor and/or communication disorders secondary to developmental delays, neurological, musculoskeletal, and cardio-pulmonary impairments; as well as traumatic injuries and swallowing disorders. This includes patient and caregiver education; discharge planning; and consultation to other professionals, clinics, or agencies.

  • Masters degree in speech/language pathology.

  • Two-year experience required, of which 1 year pediatric experience preferred.

  • CPR certification.

  • Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech/Language Pathology Current Texas drivers license in good standing.
