The Psychophysiologist provides services for Cook Children's Pain Management patients and their family members through individual biofeedback sessions. The Psychophysiologist will also provide biofeedback training, relaxation therapies, cognitive behavioral therapy and hypnosis of patients under the supervision of a Pain physician. Other responsibilities include participating in planning, implementation, and evaluation of pain management practices for patients. Developing strategies for patients and families primarily in the outpatient settings. Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
